Journal Entry #12

Prompt: Each class meeting, you should be writing one page on the topic we covered in class. You can also use this as a time to do independent research, create photo essays, or similar. If you’re unsure, contact me about it. You should also use this space as an opportunity to write about inspirations for your own work, and to put your sketches, illustrations, etc. online.

In this twelfth reflection, I will be putting down and reacting to my highlights among the things covered in class

Today was a working day. There was no lesson and we were all just working on our projects in groups, while getting help from Professor Scott. My highlight was printing and putting together our 3D tree. It took us all in all about six hours to finish printing the tree, and putting the pieces together (which a kindergarten kid is supposed to know how to do) took us four more hours because of how the small pieces did not initially fit into each other. Students Sofia Fernandez and Patrick Reid were working respectively on the arduino code and on the circuit, with the help of Professor Scott. I will be publishing and documenting our work in the next journal entry. (There were many pictures I took for this post, but I unfortunately lost my phone on Thursday night).
